How to dress for Autumn!
06:21All of us want to look like autumn goddesses' because you know..we're already goddesses,(thank you...I know I'm smooth as peanut butter.) but we just want to be stylish while still being comfy and warm So what's the perfect way to dress for autumn?
Colours. I know some of us (including me) enjoy wearing black every day…so much so that I simply blend in perfectly, but autumn is actually the perfect time to go and buy some new colours (or rummage through some vintage stores!) Because unlike summer you don’t have to go wild with bright (happy..egh) colours. Instead, you can go for colours that are warm on the colour palette. Burgundy, brown, purple etc is such a great palette to work with. Especially burgundy, yes!
Autumn is that time of month where everything is like a rebirth. The leaves are changing colour. and the days are growing darker and colder, so it’s the perfect time to bring in your knitted sweaters and boots. My personal favourite is to wear sweaters, along with a black coat (as mentioned here) skinny jeans (forever 21 have great, inexpensive ones) and roll up the bottom of the jeans and wear my brown ankle boots. It’s a simple outfit that requires little effort and workseffortlessly.
Converse. ‘Nuff said. Especially white converse as they can be worn with practically any outfit, and are also comfortable! And when it's raining (especially in England) converse can get as muddy and worn as you like, because that's how they look best! C'mon? Who liesk their converse to lookbrand new? They're jsut about the only clothing item you want to loked rugged and worn out. As lots of us start college/school/uni in the autumn months, and so our bags carry the body weight of a sumo wrestler...it's preferable to be fashonable, yet practical. This is no Victoria Secret Fashion Show...wear the damn comfty shoes!! (Unless you can pull off heels during a school day...which...hats of to you) Wearing converse paired with a coloured shirt or sweater is always a perfect combination, and can never go wrong.
Hats. Autumn is a time of change, and well experimentation! Investing is hats is perfect for the autumn, with a range of colours and styles to fit your personal style! You could wear a purple hat, or a fitted black one.
And that’s autumn, a time of change, growth and adding in some subtle hints of colours. There's no season quite like Autumn. (Apart from maybe...winter.)
